I'm a pediatric occupational therapist who specializes in providing individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children of all ages. With a doctorate in OT, I am passionate about working with children, their families, and their educational team to help children thrive at home, school, and in the community. My child-centered approach focuses on increasing a child’s successful performance of daily activities, and improving their independence. I create a customized plan for each child that is based on the familial goals and the child’s developmental needs. Each plan uses specially designed, fun and engaging activities to support the acquisition of the foundational skills needed for successful activity performance. These skills include:

• Visual perceptual abilities

• Play skills

• Self help skills

 

I have extensive experience working with children who have various diagnoses including Developmental Delay, Autism, ADHD, Neurological Impairment, and Sensory Processing Disorder.
